One-to-One iPad Program
The purpose of the one-to-one iPad program at Ligonier Valley Middle School is to enhance learning through technology. iPads do not replace current learning initiatives but rather augment those efforts. In previous years, learners did not take their iPads home. However, it is essential that they have their iPads at home so they are able to access school when needed. It is also important that their iPads are charged each night before school begins the next day. The school network learners use to access the Internet is filtered. Chromebooks and laptops are also available for use when needed in LVMS classrooms.
The 815 Policy Acknowledgement and Consent Form and the Learner iPad Guidelines and Responsibilities Form must be completed before a learner can receive his/her iPad. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Janine Vallano, district technology director, at 724-238-5696.
