Mental Health Services

For the Ligonier Valley School District, making the greatest long-term impact on mental health challenges means focusing on prevention, professional learning for educators and informational training for parents, guardians, and the community. This holistic approach is an incredibly effective route towards building a whole-community prevention safety net. It’s vitally important to equip every teacher and parent with the knowledge and a toolkit to identify mental health issues, direct students and families to the proper forums for care, and manage challenging behaviors in the classroom and at home.

To support these goals, the Ligonier Valley School District is offering a range of professional development and training sessions to parents that will help support the entire community during these challenging times.
