Virtual Hallway
Mrs. Stevenson's 2nd grade studied arrays in math during the past week and a half and we gave our kids a number of response ideas to demonstrate their learning. Lorelai looked to create arrays around her house
Mrs. Theys participated in the virtual field trip with the Loyalhanna watershed and the learners began the field trip with a critter scavenger hunt. Liliana sent some videos of the things that she and her mom found on their hunt.
Hunter uses Chrome Music Lab’s Songmaker to create his own music while exploring pitch, melody, tempo, and combinations of instruments.
The learners were tasked with a Chemistry Scavenger Hunt for their final project of the year. They were given a list of 25 objects to find around their house that demonstrated a descriptor. For example, find an object that contains the element that has 26 protons. They first had to name the element, iron, and then take a picture of the item and label it properly. The learners had to select 20 of the 25 items to find and describe. The example given is from junior Colin.
MR. GREGORICH'S ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY COURSE
This is the final project for Mr. Gregorich’s Anatomy and Physiology course. The learners were to create an original model of a body system, tissue, organ, etc. and label it correctly. A few of the projects are shown. The thoracic cavity bones project is from senior Caitlyn Carney. The two pictures of the exterior and interior of a long bone are from senior Mia Morgan, and the digestive system is from senior McKenna Rummel.
