The health and safety of our learners and staff are our top priorities. We continue to monitor the local and national developments regarding the COVID-19 virus and have made preparations to respond to how the virus may impact our community. STEP UP Westmoreland - March 16, 2020
In collaboration, the Westmoreland Intermediat Unit, its 17 county districts, and the Westmoreland County Government worked together to create a mental health network of resources known as STEP UP Westmoreland (Students, Therapists, Educators and Parents United in Prevention). As a public service and to support Department of Health Secretary Levine's call for addressing mental health needs during the COVID-19 crisis, STEP UP Westmoreland provides assistance to families during this pandemic.

Governor Closes PA Schools - March 13, 2020
Governor Tom Wolf has closed Pennsylvania’s schools. Therefore, the Ligonier Valley School District is closed until Monday, March 30, 2020. Please check back for updates.
