WPIAL
The mission of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) is:
To regulate and administer interscholastic athletic competition in a fair and equitable manner while promoting the values of participation in interscholastic athletics as an integral part of a student’s educational experience. Governed by the constitution and by-laws of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, the WPIAL represents its member schools by promoting academics, the safety of participants, sportsmanship, citizenship and lifelong values as the foundation of interscholastic athletics.
