TOWN HALL MEETINGS (June 2020)
On Monday, June 22, 2020, Ligonier Valley School District approved several plans related to the opening of school for the 2020-21 school year. In creating these plans, our goal has been to provide educational options that will provide opportunity for our learners, within the health parameters identified by Pennsylvania and CDC. Please join us for one of several virtual “town hall” meetings, designed to provide families with information on both the health and safety plans and the learning models that will be implemented during Pennsylvania’s yellow and green phases of the Covid-19 emergency. The sharing sessions will also provide time for questions and answers from the audience. Initial meetings will be held through Zoom, and will require registration as there are space limits in each session. The sessions are designed to address family groups (those with children only attending elementary; those with children only attending LMS; those with children only attending LHS/EWCTC; and those with children attending schools in multiple buildings), and will have district and building administrators in respective sessions. Ultimately, we will be asking families to complete a “2020-21 Learning Model Selection” form by July 15th, and the information provided at the sessions will most likely assist you in making the best decision for each child. In the event that you are unable to attend a virtual session due to lack of internet, please contact building secretary at 724-238-5696. Family Town Hall Sessions
